Happy Cherries Sour are twin-attached cherry wine gums with a sour coating, made by Haribo's Nordic arm, Haribo Lakrids A/S, in Faxe, Denmark. The gelatine content is unusually high, which gives them a firm, springy bite — if Sour Patch Kids feel too soft, these are the corrective. The colours come entirely from fruit and plant concentrates like spirulina, safflower, and hibiscus. Haribo has been making gummies since 1920, and the sour twin cherry is a pick-and-mix fixture across the Nordics.
