Malaco Skumkantarell are chanterelle-shaped foam candies — pink and yellow, lightly sugar-coated, with the dense, silky skum texture that is firmer and less sticky than an American marshmallow. The recipe is the traditional gelatine-based one, so this is a heritage piece rather than a vegetarian one. Malaco has been a Swedish candy name since 1934 and is owned today by Cloetta, the Nordic confectioner founded in 1862. The chanterelle shape nods to Sweden's mushroom-foraging obsession — a national symbol you can eat.
