Vidal has been making novelty gummies in Spain since 1963, and the Filled Pizza is one of its oddest and most loved. Each coin-sized 'slice' has a darker glazed jelly crust, bright multi-coloured 'topping' flecks, and a soft centre blended from real fruit and vegetable concentrates — apple, blackcurrant, lemon, carrot and more. If you've grabbed an E.Frutti gummi pizza at an American checkout, this is the same joke told better: softer filling, fruitier flavour, glossy carnauba-glazed finish.
