Vidal's XL range takes its standard shapes and makes them a mouthful, and the raspberry is the pick of them: a deep red moulded body with a soft, jammy filling that gives way after the first bite. The flavour is proper dark raspberry rather than generic red, and the size means three or four is a genuine portion. Made in Galicia, Spain, where Vidal has been moulding jellies since 1963.
