Refund & Returns Policy – ScandiSweetShop

Overview

At ScandiSweetShop, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll always try to help. Please read the policy below carefully, as food products are treated differently under EU consumer law.


Perishable Goods (Sweets & Food Products)

Due to health, hygiene, and food safety regulations, we do not accept returns or exchanges on food items, including sweets and candy, once they have been delivered.

This is in line with EU consumer law regarding perishable and sealed food products.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

  • Incomplete

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

If the issue is confirmed, we will offer one of the following:

  • A replacement

  • A refund

  • A store credit

The solution will depend on the situation, but we always aim to be fair.

Non-Food Items (if applicable)

If your order includes non-food items (e.g. merchandise, accessories):

  • You have 14 days from delivery to request a return

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty

Refunds are processed once the return is received and inspected.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing time: 5–10 business days (depending on your bank or payment provider)

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error

Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)

Under EU law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable food items, including sweets and candy.
