These are BUBS' most famous shape: two-tone skulls from Sweden's foam candy specialists, founded in 1992. Half the skull is sweet raspberry, the other half mellow liquorice, and the two flavours blend as the foam melts — the liquorice is soft and rounded here, nothing like a hardcore salmiak. The texture is classic Swedish skum: airier than a gummy, denser than a marshmallow, with that quick mousse-like give when you bite. They are also entirely vegan and gelatin-free, which is rare in foam candy and makes them a staple of vegan pick-and-mix bags across Scandinavia.
